Yes this is an excellent sampler of the varied
Detroit Techno sound and probably this classiest
thing that React has ever released.
Two-cds worth of exclusive tracks from the likes
of Drexciya, Santonio Echols, Thomas Barnett,
Kevin Saunderson, Alan Oldham/DJ T1000, 365 Black
Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Kenny Larkin, Juan
Atkins, Shake, Eddie Fowlkes, Claude Young and
Suburban Knight to name a few. My only gripe
with this release is that Carl Craig isnt included
on it and he's one of the brightest stars from
Detroit IMHO. My favorite track on this one is
Alan Oldham's "d-may 87" where he imitates May's
early & classic sound.
